For my mixed medium work I use canvas board, acrylic paint, text and sometimes maps and tissue paper.
The work is layered using brushes, pallet knife, and roller. Sometimes they are sanded back to reveal under painting layers.

Onto this I silkscreen print my own photographic images. I mainly use a dodging and burning tools in Photoshop to create the image ready for screen, this in itself is like creating a painting deciding which details to keep and which to omit. 

All paintings are sealed with UV matt varnish. Each screen is used once only making each piece unique.
